It's a small celebration because I've watched two series: Breaking Bad & Castle.
Last week the mini series The Newsroom ended with an marriage proposal and I could live with that as an ending to this season. But having Castle back is also great.
For real, everybody who has been following Castle knows that the series is so predictable but it's fun. The dynamic between a female and a male has always been a success on television and so is Castle. What I would like to see in Castle is whatever they want to throw at me. You certainty do not need to be a scientist to know how every episode will end and I am fine with that.
And while Breaking Bad is coming to an end I have a bit mixed feeling about it. I just started watching the series and I find it too much dead body dropping but also very interesting how small thing in lives can change a person.
The character development is great and intriguing. As audience, I can feel for every personage in the drama. The motivation behind each action is so clear or will be made clear. So yeah mixed feelings.

Almost starting
It's almost time for the start of my regular tv schedule. To be totally honest I'm looking forward to it. But it also means goodbye to some favorites in the summer. There is Rizzolli & Isles, Perception and Major Crimes.
Like everyone else I'm thrilled to see Bones, The Good Wife and SVU. They all have a killer season finale episode and I want to know what is next. And the new series like S.H.I.E.L.D and Brooklyn Nine-Nine how would the first episode be.
But yeah it is still two weeks away, so we all just have to wait.

Broadchurch, Forbrydelsen comparison
I watched it and immediately made an comparison to Forbrydelsen. I was a little bit right instead of one case per episode the whole season is about one case. The difference was that I could multitask while watching Broadchurch and boy I did that.
With Forbrydelsen I had to focus because I don't know Danish. Though I almost thought it was German. But it couldn't be because I can understand German. So I read the subtitles and couldn't multitask inbetween.
I have to say there is one season from Forbrydelsen that just resemble Broadchurch. I had my suspicion and it came through. Like in all 'crime de passion' it has to be someone close to the victim.
Perhaps I watch and read to much from the mystery/detective genre. I kinda get bored, seeing through the small details and connecting the dots. For all those who are relatively new to the genre it's okay to watch and deduct your way out of the mystery.
ps. I only started watching Broadchurch because David Tennant has a role in it.

Switched at Birth
This week Switched at Birth was the usual drama. I don't see any new turns or sidestory. It was okay to watch but not brilliant. I think I will stick to this drama for awhile before deciding to drop it from my watch list.
1. Deaf
2. Teens
3. Truth
4. Family
Don't call me discriminating cause I put deaf on number 1. The selling point of this series is deaf (and signing). Without it, it's like any other drama. I like the fact that they at least try to show how deaf people can function in the society and what kind of problems they have. The show has brought to my attention that their world doesn't differ as much as I thought.

Suits (USA)
Can you remember Ally McBeal? The humorous series about lawyers. Suits is a bit like that but without the overacting and less jokes. It's kinda a combination between Ally McBeal and Scarlet Heart (步步驚心). The relationships in the palace are complicated and the underlying schemes behind each action doesn't make it easy.
The leads whoever they are in Suits all have a different relationship with each other. I think it's because of the different chemistry in each relationship makes me continuing to watch season two.
1. Partnership
2. Power struggle
3. Friendship
4. Sarcasm
5. Truth

Television
It's midsummer season televison time which sucks. I used to had a weekly schedule for my daily shows. Everyday at least two American show and a couple of Asian drama. There is still a month left until the regular schedule starts again. And I can't wait for the new comedy Brooklyn nine-nine because after 30 Rock I just miss something.
Luckly, all my asian drama have a regular schedule and runs just for a couple of weeks or months. Except for all the drama and series I'm also a sucker for anime. For some reason I barely cry watching non-anime but when I watch anime my tears just flows. Perhaps I don't use my mind when watching anime and let my emotion out of control.
And for your information, I don't have cable or anything. I get everything from the web.
